Mooiplaats Edu Centre was established in September 2025 when The Garden Social Services was approached by community members to provide formal education for underprivileged children in the area. Renovations were undertaken on an existing building to accommodate the centre, allowing children to experience structured early learning for the first time. Although still in its early stages, the centre is also planning to introduce basic skills development programs to benefit unemployed adults in the community.
