Lerato La Thuto Edu Centre was established in February 2025 when The Garden Social Services, in response to a request from community members in the Nigel area, set up a centre for underprivileged children. Renovations were completed on an existing structure, enabling local children to access formal education for the first time. Although in its early stages, the centre is preparing to implement skills development programs to benefit unemployed adults in the area.

- Establish Sewing Classes which will cost 20k
- Plant and Eat Garden – budget to be established
- Adult based skills development programmes – Nature and budget to be established

These initiatives aim to empower both children and adults, providing opportunities for self-sufficiency and fostering a brighter future.
