Assisted Living Shaft 17 was established in 2023 to provide care for elderly and frail community members. Since its inception, the centre has grown significantly, offering continuous professional development and serving as a training hub for caregiver graduates pursuing learnerships.

Home for the Visually Impaired was started January 2025 when the Garden Social Services addressed the need for a care facility for our
Adult Visually Impaired in the community. The centre is in its infancy stage and has already attracted a visually impaired teacher and
students. We are eager to nurture this for a brighter future for the marginalised adult with visual impairments.
